The two clubs met in both of the weekend’s finals. They shared the trophies.
The second leg of the Supersevens was played on Friday and Saturday at the Stade du Hameau in Pau. Stade Toulousain won the men’s event, LOU the women’s, and the two clubs faced each other in both finals.
Toulouse see off Vannes, Monaco, then Lyon
Second in their pool behind Section Paloise despite an unbeaten run, Toulouse grew into the tournament on Saturday. They beat Vannes by fourteen points, then Monaco, winners of the first leg, by seventeen.

Seven points separated the two clubs at the end. Only the semi-final between Clermont and LOU, decided by five points, was closer across the whole knockout bracket.
In the women’s event, the reverse by three points
Lyon knocked out Bobigny in the semi-finals before coming back to beat Toulouse, who had just put thirty points on Romagnat without conceding a single one.

Toulouse had not conceded a point all day before the final. Three points were enough for Lyon.
Monaco lose their leg title and win 36-0
Winners in Biarritz a week earlier, where they beat Toulon 21-12 in the final, Monaco fell in the semi-finals to the eventual winners. Their response was brutal: 36-0 against Clermont in the third-place play-off, the biggest margin of the knockout stage.
Clermont, who had knocked out the French Barbarians in the previous round, finish fourth without scoring a single point in their last match.
Pau out on home soil, Toulon gone in the pools
Section Paloise had topped their pool, ahead of Toulouse, after beating La Rochelle 26-17 and then Stade Français 29-5. They went out in the quarter-finals to LOU, the eventual finalists, by seven points.
Toulon, finalists at the Biarritz leg, did not make it to Saturday. After beating Castres 24-15 in their opening match, RCT lost 10-7 to Vannes on Friday evening and did not get out of the pool stage. Vannes, on the other hand, secured their place in the competition’s final.
The third leg will be played before the final, scheduled at Paris La Défense Arena.
