Cookie preferences

1. Introduction

This cookie policy applies to the websites ruck-zone.fr and itsrugby.fr (hereinafter the “Sites”), published by RUCK ZONE.

Its purpose is to inform you, clearly and transparently, about the use of cookies, trackers and server-side counters when you browse our Sites. A tracker is a file or comparable technology, stored on your device or run server-side, used to collect information about your browsing or to enable certain services to work.

2. Consent management platform

Consent for trackers subject to authorisation is collected and managed via the Didomi platform. You can view, change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the “Cookie preferences” button in the footer of the Sites and at the top of this page.

3. Categories of trackers used

We classify the trackers used on our Sites into four main categories:

  • Trackers essential to operation: necessary for the Sites to work properly, for consent management and for certain technical functions (without these trackers, some features cannot be provided).
  • Audience measurement and analytics trackers: help us understand how the Sites are used so we can improve them. Some fall under the CNIL (French data protection authority) exemption for audience measurement (deliberation 2020-091).
  • Advertising and marketing trackers: used to measure the performance of the adverts shown and, where applicable, to offer personalised advertising.
  • Trackers linked to third-party content integration: may be set by external services when you interact with embedded content.

Your consent is required to activate trackers that are not essential or that do not fall under the CNIL exemption.

d) Third-party content and integrations

Some embedded content (video players, interactive maps, etc.) may set their own trackers when you interact with them. The main services concerned:

  • Leaflet + OpenStreetMap / Nominatim maps: no user cookie on the visitor’s side (tiles served without tracking).
  • Third-party CDNs (jsdelivr.net for admin Chart.js, flagcdn.com for country flags): no tracking cookie.
  • Social media and video platform embeds (YouTube, X, etc.): where present in an article, these may set their own trackers; subject to your Didomi consent.

5. Consequences of refusal

Refusing non-essential trackers does not prevent access to the Sites or to their content. However, some features may be limited: detailed advertising statistics unavailable, GA audience measurement inactive, less personalised experience.

6. Your rights

You may at any time:

  • Change your preferences by clicking “Cookie preferences” (in the footer or at the top of this page);
  • Configure your browser to accept, refuse or delete cookies (under “options”, “preferences” or “settings”).

For strictly necessary trackers, their use is not subject to your consent (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, “loi Informatique et Libertés”).

7. Updates

This cookie policy may be amended at any time to reflect legal, regulatory, technical or editorial developments. The date shown at the top of this page corresponds to its last update.
