Six Top 14 and Pro D2 players are suspended after this week’s hearings.

The Ligue nationale de rugby’s disciplinary committee published its decisions on Thursday for cases from rounds 7 and 8. Three Top 14 players and three from Pro D2 are suspended.

Diallo and Matiu miss November

Sent off against Montpellier for a dangerous clear-out on Alexandre Becognee, Ibrahim Diallo receives four weeks, his record counting against him. The Racing 92 back-rower can return on 7 December. He had made five Top 14 appearances this season.

Temo Matiu gets three weeks for a dangerous tackle on Levani Botia, shown an orange card late in Bordeaux-Begles’ 25-19 win at La Rochelle. The starting point of six weeks was halved. The back-rower, who has played six Top 14 matches this season, is available again on 30 November and can follow the Head Contact Process to cut a further week. Castres’ Remy Baget is banned for one week for disrespecting a match official.

Pole out for three Pro D2 games

In Pro D2, Narbonne prop Abraham Pole, shown an orange card against Brive, saw his ban cut from six to three weeks at the hearing. He will miss Montauban, Nice and Biarritz. Beziers’ Jerome Dufour (two yellow cards at Provence) and Agen’s Valentin Gayraud (three yellows this season) get one week each. Nice and their president Jean-Baptiste Aldige are summoned on 12 November over comments about refereeing.
