Twelve years on, the men in pink head back to Saint-Denis for a regular-season Classico.
Stade Francais will host Toulouse at the Stade de France on Saturday 19 December, the final round of the first half of the Top 14 season (round 12). The Paris club announced the move in early October: “Douze ans après, les Soldats Roses retrouveront le Stade de France” (“Twelve years on, the Soldats Roses will return to the Stade de France”), it said in a statement.
Nine Classicos in Saint-Denis
Under president Max Guazzini, Paris made the national stadium their second home between 2005 and 2014. According to the club, the two sides met there nine times. Across Stade Francais’s nine home league fixtures against Toulouse in that period, they won five, drew one and lost three. Their 29-15 win on 15 October 2005 was watched by 79,502 spectators. The last meeting, on 22 March 2014, ended 27-27.
Toulouse won their last two visits to Paris
The move is also a financial gamble, Le Figaro noted on Friday, for a club that normally plays at Jean-Bouin. On the pitch, recent form favours Toulouse: after three straight home wins for Paris in 2022 and 2023, Toulouse won on their last two trips to the capital, 27-21 in April 2025 and 13-9 in February 2026.
