A twist in the Pro D2 transfer market. Arthur Coville, said to be on his way to RC Vannes, has confirmed a four-year extension with Provence Rugby.

The scrum-half had nonetheless signed a pre-contract with the Brittany club, where he came through, for next season. Vannes president Olivier Cloarec acknowledged the “muddle” around the case and hopes for a swift resolution.

Developed at Vannes, a former Stade Français player and at Provence since 2023, Coville has ultimately chosen continuity. A U-turn that leaves RC Vannes without the No. 9 they had targeted for the coming season.
