Toulouse have agreed to share one of their assistants with a national team preparing for the 2027 World Cup.

Jerome Kaino will work on contact attitude and attacking rucks with Georgia, according to Midi Olympique. His role starts with the November tour against Canada, Tonga and the United States. He is due back with the Lelos in the spring for the Rugby Europe Championship, then for the World Cup in Australia.

The setup is similar to Geoffrey Doumayrou’s with France: the coach keeps his club job and joins the national team during camps. At Toulouse, Kaino works in Ugo Mola’s staff, notably with the Espoirs.

Pierre-Henry Broncan took charge of Georgia this summer after leaving Brive.
