Rugby Club Toulonnais continue to secure their key assets. On Wednesday, the club confirmed the extension of Swan Rebbadj, their emblematic lock, until 2028. An important signing that follows on from those of Matthias Halagahu and Mathieu Smaïli, both also extended until 2027 earlier this week.

At 30, the Martigues native is thus committing for three more seasons at the club where he was launched as a professional in 2016. Developed at Toulon and back in January from a serious knee injury, Rebbadj recently passed the symbolic milestone of 150 matches with RCT. This extension also marks the club’s determination to build on a loyal and experienced core.

Laurent Emmanuelli, the director of rugby, welcomed that continuity: “Seeing him carry on the adventure at RCT is a real source of satisfaction”. Capped three times by France, Swan Rebbadj remains a cornerstone of the Toulon pack and a recognised leader in the Var dressing room.
