Rugby Club Toulonnais are continuing their run of extensions. After the announcements involving Halagahu, Smaïli and Rebbadj, it is Marius Domon’s turn to renew his commitment to the Var club. The 22-year-old full-back has signed a new contract tying him to RCT until 2028.
Developed at Toulon, Domon took full advantage of Melvyn Jaminet’s suspension to establish himself this season. A starter on 18 occasions in 21 matches played, always with the number 15 on his back, he quickly convinced the Toulon staff… and the France staff too. The full-back was in fact called into the France squad to prepare for the matches against Ireland and Scotland during the 2024 Six Nations.
“I am very happy to extend my contract with RCT. This club gave me the chance to express myself and to improve”, the player said in a statement. A fine show of loyalty and mutual appreciation for a man who is now one of the great hopes of French rugby in that position.
