Stade Français confirmed on Friday that Tani Vili has extended his contract until 2029. Three more seasons for the 25-year-old centre, who arrived in the capital having long carried a reputation for inconsistency.
His career path has been anything but straightforward. He came through the Espoirs at Brive and made his name at Clermont, earning a call-up for France’s summer tour in 2021, but never really kicked on. Last season changed the picture: our records now credit him with 99 professional matches and 4,352 minutes since his debut in 2018.
At 1.87 m and 114 kg, he gives the Paris coaching staff rare versatility, in the centre or on the flank. That also explains the length of the deal.
His profile has been updated in our database: contract end moved to 2029.
