A fine piece of business for USON Nevers Rugby. After a convincing season on loan, U20 international Gabin Rocher has officially signed an academy contract for two further seasons with the Nevers club, who play in Pro D2. The club announced it on their website at the same time as the extensions of his team-mates Johan Wasserman (2029) and Lucas Blanc (2027). Having arrived from Montpellier to find game time, the 20-year-old wing has carved out a place for himself in Xavier Péméja’s squad.

The USON manager has used him 14 times this season, 13 of them as a starter. That trust has been repaid with 6 tries this season by a player who is also studying journalism alongside his career. Gabin Rocher is now tied to Nevers until 2027.
