Stade Rochelais were keeping a close eye on the situation. They will not see it through: according to L’Équipe, centre Noah Nene has chosen to stay at Stade Français, and talks with the Paris club are said to be at a very advanced stage. The 21-year-old was a priority target for the Atlantic coast club to strengthen their back line.
Nothing has been signed yet, and his current contract runs until June 2027. Paris moved well ahead of that deadline.

What stands out most is how quickly he has risen. In 2024-2025, Nene played 14 Pro D2 matches for Dax, scoring 3 tries. The following season, he nailed down a starting place at Stade Français, scored ten tries, played his part in the Paris run to the Top 14 semi-final lost to Montpellier (25-15), and won his first France cap against Wales in February.
