MHR have loaned their young lock Nils Punti to US Carcassonne, a Nationale club, for one season, in 2026-2027.

At 19, Nils Punti (1.99m, 114kg) ticks every box of a lock to watch. Under contract with Montpellier until 2027, he got his first taste of the professional game this season in the Challenge Cup, in Tbilisi against the Black Lion. Above all he was part of the France U20 Grand Slam in the U20 Six Nations, with two starts against Ireland and Italy and an appearance off the bench in Scotland. He came through Uzès and then Nîmes before joining MHR in 2023, and has already been training with the Aude side for several weeks.
