Rouen end Massy’s run

Massy led 5-0 at the break thanks to Amona Artaud’s try in the fifth minute, then did not score another. Rouen turned it around after half-time through Marius Leleu (43rd) and Maxime Cassonnet (65th), both converted by Florent Massip. A Gregory Hutley penalty (66th) only earned the leaders a losing bonus point (8-14). Massy had won all nine of their games, a start no team had managed in Nationale over the last seven seasons, and had never lost at home this season.

“I wanted this match to be a defining moment of our season in terms of content and attitude,” Rouen manager Yannick Nyanga told Rugbyrama. It is a fourth straight win for Rouen, who move up to fourth.

Chambéry one point behind, with a record

Chambéry had the game won by half-time against the bottom side (22-3), with tries from Lasha Mchedlidze (4th), Michel Himmer (10th) and Ratu Meli Turagaca (35th). Giorgi Gergedava added the fourth in the 76th minute for the bonus point (29-10). It is a seventh straight win for Chambéry, who close to within a point of Massy (41 to 42): thanks to their losing bonus, Massy stay top of the FFR table.

With 344 points scored, Chambéry have the highest total after ten rounds over the last seven seasons of Nationale. The previous best was Rouen’s 318 in 2024-25.

Fourteen-man Carcassonne fall short

Down to fourteen from the 32nd minute after Jordan Puletua’s red card, Carcassonne did not score a try in Orléans. Jérôme Bosviel (two penalties and a drop goal) and Maxime Gianet kicked all their points. Matthys Gratien scored the only try of the game in the 66th minute, converted by Thomas Piquemal (13-12). Promoted Orléans, who had lost by two points to both Massy and Chambéry, climb to sixth, in front of 5,786 spectators according to L’Indépendant. Carcassonne stay third with a losing bonus.

A losing start for Goutta

In his first game as Mont-de-Marsan manager, Bernard Goutta saw his side concede three first-half tries (22-7) and lose Lisati Milo-Harris to a red card in the 40th minute. With fourteen men, Mont-de-Marsan got back within four points through a Nicolas Garrault double and Clément Cavaliere (75th), but could not overturn Suresnes (25-21). They are still without an away win: five trips, five defeats. They drop out of the top six.

Périgueux celebrate 125 years

CA Périgueux took a bonus-point win over Albi (36-17) on the day of the club’s 125th anniversary. Nahum Merigan and Sirilo Lovokuro both scored twice, the latter in two minutes (76th, 78th). Albi suffer a second straight defeat after losing at home to Chambéry and slip to fifth.

Home wins for Marcq and Bourgoin-Jallieu

Marcq-en-Barœul beat Rennes with a bonus point (34-16), scoring four tries including one from Mathis Deram in the last minute, with 12 points from the boot of Maxime Javaux. It is only their second win of the season, both at home, and it lifts them above Rennes in the table.

In the Isère derby, Bourgoin-Jallieu scored in the first minute through Thibault Dufau and beat Vienne (23-16), with 13 points from Goulwen Gueho and a try from Louis Ponton (54th).
