New season, new goals for Seilala Lam. The 36-year-old hooker is leaving Perpignan with immediate effect and joining another Top 14 club. The Samoa international (30 caps) has signed for Clermont and will finish the season in the Auvergne.

Lam is expected to arrive before the end of the week. “We had targeted an experienced player, solid and strong in the collisions, and Seilala ticks every box; we are delighted to be able to count on him for this end of the season“, savoured Christophe Urios in the statement published by ASM.

Having arrived from Nevers in 2017, Seilala Lam won over Catalan hearts with his power, his generosity and his smile. He will have played 161 matches in Catalonia. At Clermont, the Samoan comes in to fill the gap left by another hooker, Folau Fainga’a.
