Movement at Brive. After a very average start to the season given their budget (the biggest in the division), CAB have chosen to move manager David Darricarrère aside. He will nonetheless take up another role within the club.

To replace him, Brive did not look far. The Corrèze club have recalled Pierre-Henry Broncan, who had stepped back at the end of last season to become director of rugby.

“Pierre-Henry Broncan is taking back his responsibilities with the professional team while retaining his duties as Director of Rugby. His brief is clear: to lift CA Brive up the table and to qualify for the play-offs at the end of the season“, the club wrote in a statement.

According to L’Equipe, the name of Franck Azema, to strengthen the staff, is cropping up more and more. Darricarrère’s assistants Saïd Hirèche, Goderdzi Shvelidze and Arnaud Méla, for their part, are staying in place. CAB will need to react quickly next Thursday when they host Colomiers, second in Pro D2.
