Christmas has come early for RCT supporters. The Var club confirmed on Thursday that Baptiste Serin has extended his contract until 2028. Big news, and eagerly awaited around the Rade in recent weeks.

The France international scrum-half (31, 49 caps), who arrived at RCT in 2019, quickly became indispensable in the Var ranks, to the point of taking the captain’s armband on several occasions.

“An important member of our squad, Baptiste is a player brimming with talent. His extension is excellent news for the club and for all our supporters”, savoured RCT manager Pierre Mignoni.

Since 2019 and up to this point in the season, Baptiste Serin has played 135 matches and scored 384 points. The story is therefore only just beginning…
