The court in Auch (Gers) delivered its verdict on Thursday. New Zealand centre George Tilsley (33) was sentenced to two years in prison, one of them to be served in custody, as the court had been asked to impose at the start of November.

The former Agen, UBB, Toulouse and Perpignan player had already been convicted in 2023 on the same grounds. The centre denied the facts right to the end, but the accounts of two complainants convinced the court to punish him.
