Clermont are already preparing for the future. After the extensions of Akhaladze, Tixeront, Jauneau and young Michaud, it is now a senior squad member, in this case lock Thomas Ceyte, who has signed on again. L’Equipe report that the 34-year-old has extended until 2027.
A workhorse who is always busy, Ceyte quickly established himself in the Clermont pack and is playing a key part in its revival at the start of this season. He arrived in 2024 from Bayonne and the Aubenas native featured in 29 matches across all competitions last season.
A former Béziers, Dax and Nevers player among others, Thomas Ceyte will therefore bring his experience to his team-mates for another season. A good piece of business by ASM.
