According to the newspaper L’Équipe, Tommaso Menoncello, one of the most promising and destructive centres in world rugby, has agreed a three-year contract with Stade Toulousain. At 23, the Italy international would leave Benetton Treviso, where he has played since turning professional, to join Toulouse in the summer of 2026.

A product of the Treviso academy, Menoncello quickly established himself as a rising figure of Italian rugby and a key man in the Squadra Azzurra. He was notably voted player of the 2024 Six Nations and features in the team of the tournament for the 2024 and 2025 editions. His versatility, playing both in the centre and on the wing, and his ability to break through opposition defences will be valuable assets for Toulouse, who have already confirmed the departure of Pita Akhi at the end of the season and where several contracts in the wing positions are reportedly not being renewed.
