Régis Montagne will be out for several weeks. In a statement on Tuesday, Clermont announced that their prop has undergone surgery for a herniated disc.

“Already troubled in November after the autumn tour, Régis Montagne complained on his return from the France-Italy match of pain in his neck while preparing for the game against Bayonne“. The operation has already taken place and the France prop will now have to observe a period of recovery.
