A Pro D2 match moved to a Ligue 1 stadium? The idea, not as crazy as it sounds, could come off. According to various sources, the round 11 meeting between Vannes and Grenoble could be played in Rennes, at the Roazhon Park. Note that the match would kick off at 9pm on Sunday 16 November. An unusual and rare slot for a second-division fixture.
The move could be beneficial for RCV, who would be playing 1hr20 from La Rabine. The Roazhon Park holds almost 30,000 people compared with around 11,000 for the Breton club’s own den.
The two clubs are still in discussions about the switch.
