It is the unmissable moment of the clubs’ summer. The Ligue Nationale de Rugby unveiled the Top 14 and Pro D2 fixture lists for the 2026-27 season on Thursday 9 July. The elite division restarts on 5 September, and it starts with a bang.

La Rochelle v Toulouse straight away — some opener
No gentle warm-up here. In the very first round, the four-time French champions head to Marcel-Deflandre to take on La Rochelle. And if you think Toulouse then get to catch their breath, think again: the Rouge et Noir host double European champions Bordeaux-Bègles in round two. Two heavyweights back to back to launch the pursuit of a historic fifth straight title.
