All is well at Valence-Romans. Second in Pro D2 thanks to a storming first half of the season, VRDR no longer want to hide and are aiming to reach the play-offs come the end of the campaign. The Drôme board, meanwhile, are already preparing for next season.

On social media on Monday, Valence-Romans announced contract extensions for two senior players: back-rower Adrien Roux and tighthead prop Vincent Vial. Both forwards have committed until 2028.

Mignot is coming

At the same time, VRDR are expected to welcome France international Marco Tauleigne (32, 4 caps), according to Ici Drôme Ardèche. A former UBB and Montpellier man, the Montélimar native can play in both the second row and the back row.

Note that Valence will be able to count on a heavyweight reinforcement for the second half of the season in the shape of France international wing Xavier Mignot (1 cap).
