The Ligue Nationale de Rugby is in good financial health. The body that oversees professional rugby in France released its budget for the 2025-2026 season on Wednesday. It comes to 181.6 million euros, 5% more than last year’s.

120.5 M€ passed on to Top 14 and Pro D2 clubs

More than two thirds of that sum (68%), or 122.7M€, comes from the television rights windfall. The rest? Marketing resources account for 15% of the total (27M€), Top 14 and Pro D2 “play-off match day” revenue for 9% (16.5M€), the EPCR allocation for 6% (10.5M€) and miscellaneous income for 2% (4.9M€).

The LNR specifies that a total of 120.5 M€ will be redistributed to the clubs on a basis of 70% for those in the Top 14 and 30% for those in Pro D2.
