The problems keep coming at Perpignan. A few days after Franck Azéma’s dismissal and three days out from the trip to Pau, USAP have to deal with yet another piece of bad news. In a statement published on Wednesday, the Catalan club announce the injury to fly-half or full-back Tristan Tedder.

The South African hurt a shoulder against Montauban and will have to go under the knife. He will miss several months of competition. Bad news for the position too, since USAP are starting to run short of options at fly-half.

Petaia already injured

With Jake McIntyre still out with a knee problem, Antoine Aucagne with his back and Gabin Kretchmann with his adductors, there are not many left in that position. L’Indépendant report, however, that Tommaso Allan, despite being called up by Italy for the autumn tour, will return on Wednesday to prepare for the match.

If there is a problem, Argentina centre Jeronimo De La Fuente can fill in at 10. All these injuries add to those of Van Tonder, Della Schiava, Yato, Diaby, Forner, Warion, Velarte, Sobela, Paia’aua, Petaia and Jefferson Lee-Joseph.
