“Following a health issue during the round 5 Top 14 match against USA Perpignan, Hassane Kolingar is recovering at home”, Racing 92 said in a statement. The 28-year-old prop, capped three times by France, started on 3 October in Racing’s big win (55-25). He scored a try in the 18th minute before going off in the 28th.
Kolingar had played in each of Racing’s first five Top 14 rounds. He missed Saturday’s defeat at Toulon (29-15), after which Patrice Collazo mentioned his situation without further detail.
Costes still in hospital
The same statement gave news of Paul Costes. The 23-year-old centre, who joined from Toulouse this summer, remains in hospital after his scooter accident and is expected to be out for several months. Racing 92 travel to Munster on Saturday for round one of the Champions Cup.
