The panel first placed the offence in the top band. Clermont’s Argentina flanker will not play again until late October.

The red card came in the 56th minute at Jean-Dauger, for a tackle off the ball judged dangerous on the Bayonne fly-half. Clermont were three points behind at the time and lost 46-24.

Six weeks, plus one, minus three

The league panel applied the top band of the sanction scale, six weeks. His record added one more. His guilty plea, his conduct before and during the hearing and his expression of remorse took three off.

Kremer will miss the home game against Castres, the trip to La Rochelle, the visit of Bordeaux-Begles and the Champions Cup opener against Leinster. He is available again for the trip to Vannes on the weekend of 24 and 25 October.

The top band of the sanction scale was applied, meaning a six-week suspension.

A record that weighed on the decision

This is his fifth recorded dismissal since the autumn of 2022 and his fourth in the Top 14. The first came on 15 October 2022 at Pau, with Stade Francais, the second on 3 June 2023 against Racing 92 and the third on 26 April 2026 at Toulouse. He was also sent off with Argentina in Scotland on 19 November 2022.

The same panel looked at Baptiste Pesenti’s red card, shown at Lyon for clearing out Mickael Guillard. The Pau lock escaped sanction: his card was rescinded and he was available for the visit of La Rochelle.
