Only six days to go. On 26 March, we will know the name of the Six Nations player of the championship. Louis Bielle-Biarrey, the France rocket who scored nine tries in this 2026 edition, is obviously the favourite for the award.
At just 22, the UBB player lit up the championship with his supersonic pace. With nine touchdowns, he became the leading try-scorer in the competition’s history for a single edition. Last season, Bielle-Biarrey scored eight tries.
Menoncello in the running
The French wing will nonetheless face some strong candidates. The first is Stuart McCloskey, Ireland’s powerful centre. The Ulster man has made everyone forget Bundee Aki at inside centre. The second candidate is the excellent Scotland wing Kyle Steyn, who hurt France badly.
