Grégory Alldritt will be back with Stade Rochelais this weekend. According to a report in L’Equipe, the number 8 will start for the Maritimes in the match against Racing 92 on Sunday evening (21:05).

Alldritt will even captain La Rochelle, who will also have Australia international Will Skelton back in their ranks. Rested last Wednesday because of neck pain, the number 8 was not on the list of France’s protected players.

Guillard to start?

His presence on the pitch on Sunday would therefore move him further away from a start, or even from a place in the France squad, to take on world champions South Africa next week.

According to various sources present at Marcoussis this week, it is Lyon’s Mickaël Guillard, outstanding in that position this summer, who could take his place against the Springboks.
