A new list of 42 players to prepare for the clash with the world champion Springboks has been revealed. As a reminder, France take on South Africa on Saturday 8 November (9.10pm) at the Stade de France.

Three changes are worth noting. First, the big return of Charles Ollivon. The Toulon man, who suffered a serious knee injury last January, is recalled. The Basque made his comeback on 4 October. So far he has racked up 142 minutes of game time in the Top 14.

Thomas Ramos and Grégory Alldritt are part of the list, as is UBB hooker Maxime Lamothe, recalled to replace Clermont’s Barnabé Massa. Still up front, Toulouse’s Rodrigue Neti replaces his team-mate Benjamin Bertrand. Neti is called up for the first time.

The other newcomer called up is Théo Chabouni. The Castres full-back replaces Paris-based Léo Barré and makes his first appearance.
