There is still some waiting to do before we see Antoine Dupont in action again. The scrum-half did, however, make an appearance on Tuesday afternoon at training with Stade Toulousain. According to images captured by our colleagues at Rugbyrama, the star of French rugby took part in a game of foot-tennis with a few of his team-mates, all smiles and with some fine touches.

Dupont then did not take part in the team session and trained away from the group, with specialised exercises. Seriously injured seven months ago with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee against Ireland in the Six Nations, the Lannemezan native hopes to return to competition soon.

Dupont could return in December or even at the start of 2026 and will therefore miss the November tour with France. As a reminder, the Toulouse man chose to continue his rehabilitation in a renowned clinic in Qatar. A few more weeks and the wider public will once again be able to thrill to the phenomenon’s exploits.
