Joeli Veitayaki is no more. The former Fiji prop has died at the age of 58, his family announced on social media. The cause of his death has not been revealed. A three-time Fiji captain, the former Blues and Chiefs player was a well-known face in the Pacific rugby landscape.

Veitayaki played at the 1999 and 2003 World Cups and won 49 caps. He was also known by the nickname “Big Joe”.
