With Alex Moon leaving for UBB, Bayonne have wasted no time in finding a successor in the second row. Kilian Geraci (26) was confirmed on Friday and will join the Basque club next season. He arrives from Lyon.

An under-20 international and a two-time world champion (2018, 2019), Geraci is enjoying a good start to the season, having often been sidelined by injury in the past.

Travers set to extend

This is Aviron Bayonnais’ fifth confirmed signing, after securing the loans of Guillaume Cramont (Toulouse), Robert Du Preez (Sale), Léo Coly (Montpellier) and Lasha Macharashvili (Agen). Other CVs are being looked at.

Note too that L’Equipe suggest that director of rugby Laurent Travers is set to sign on for four more seasons.
