The information revealed by BFM Toulon Var landed like a bombshell on Tuesday evening. Cédric Abellon, the famous leader of the “Pilou-Pilou” war chant at Toulon, was taken into police custody that same day. He is suspected of raping a partner or former partner.

The outlet adds that he could be brought before the Toulon court on Wednesday morning. Abellon was the man who started the Pilou-Pilou and had performed the role from 2008 to 2019.
