South Africa love to needle their opponents. Especially when those opponents are France. In a video published on Wednesday on social media, the Springboks teased their next meeting with France – on 8 November at the Stade de France – with a video that was, to say the least… provocative.

The world champions replayed footage of Thomas Ramos’ conversion charged down by Cheslin Kolbe in the World Cup quarter-final France lost in 2023. “One month until the Boks return to the Stade de France”, wrote the Springboks account.

A good way to get hostilities under way in the purest South African style and/or to prick the egos of the France players before this eagerly awaited meeting.
