Vinaya Habosi is in it for the long haul. The 25-year-old Fijian three-quarter extended with Racing 92 on Tuesday evening and will stay loyal to the sky-blue and white club until 2029. Arriving from the Fijian Drua, the man nicknamed “the plane tree” by Damian Penaud has been hugely convincing.

After a successful start to the season, in the centre as well as on the wing, Habosi is one of the spearheads of the Paris side’s attack. He has started six times in six team sheets since September and has also scored three tries.

Good news for Racing 92, who have also managed to extend Max Spring and Guram Gogichashvili.
