Pierre-Henry Broncan really is set to become head coach of Georgia. The announcement was made official on Saturday on the accounts of CA Brive and Georgia. The Brive manager will take up the post in June with the 2027 World Cup in Australia firmly in his sights.

“Although a new sporting challenge awaits me at the end of the season, my commitment remains total to seeing this adventure through to the end and to reaching the objectives we have set together“, says Broncan. Before adding: “My time at CA Brive will remain a landmark stage in my journey, and I want to finish this job in the best possible way“.

The president of the Corrèze club was keen to congratulate his coach and also expressed his disappointment at seeing “PHB” leave Brive. The Auch native had taken over the reins of the team after David Darricarrère was moved aside.
