And on it goes, again and again… That Francis Cabrel refrain is the perfect way to sum up the flood of injuries washing over clubs and national teams alike. On Tuesday, Romain Ntamack’s absence for the next Champions Cup fixture against Sale on Saturday (18:30) was confirmed.
The Toulouse fly-half, who already missed Sunday’s trip to Saracens, is still suffering from a back injury. As a reminder, Fabien Galthié will name his Six Nations squad on 21 January.
Ntamack could therefore miss the start of the competition. France take on Ireland on 5 February to open the tournament.
At half-back, France are already without Lucu, Jauneau and Le Garrec.
