France U20 have a South African challenge of their own to meet. On Saturday at 2.30pm in Châteauroux, France’s under-20s host the Baby Springboks in a test match.
For this fixture, head coach Cédric Laborde and his assistants have picked young players who have already had a taste of the Top 14. They include Clermont pair Frisach (prop) and Michaux (lock), Racing’s Jabea Njocke (prop), and Bayonne scrum-half Tilloles.
Behind, Pau centre Valentino will partner Bordeaux’s Drault, and Clermont’s Guillaud, prominent in the early part of the season, will line up at full-back. Note that the Keletaona brothers, Luka and Tana, will start at fly-half and number 8 respectively.
