Why by invitation?
To guarantee that chairman profiles are authentic. We verify your election or appointment before approval. It protects both you and the institution.
What about co-chairmanship?
Fully supported. Each co-chairman has a separate profile, linked to the same organisation, with their role stated (Co-chairman A, Co-chairman B).
What happens at the end of my term?
Your profile stays online (institutional history) but switches to "former chairman" mode. The new chairman takes over. Institutional continuity is ensured.
Is there a fee to sign up?
No. It is our institutional commitment to French rugby.
How do I request access?
Click the button below: a form lets you provide proof of your role (election minutes, mandate, institution contact).
Can I close my account later?
Yes, at any time. But two things need to be distinguished to understand what is erased and what is not.
Your personal data (email, profile photo, written biography, contact details) is deleted or anonymised on simple request. It belongs to you and you stay in control of it, in line with the GDPR.
Your public data (institutional terms of office, dates as chairman, history of roles held), however, is kept. Why? Because it forms journalistic archives of public interest, just like any sports press database. The French press freedom law of 29 July 1881 and the GDPR itself (Article 17(3)(a)) explicitly provide for this exception: a score, a referee's report or a list of honours cannot be erased on individual request, otherwise the collective history of rugby would fade away over time.
In practice: we guarantee your GDPR rights over everything relating to your personal identity, and we preserve the sports archives, like any media outlet covering rugby. Full GDPR policy in the footer.
