Frequently asked questions

We address your concerns

Is it free?

Yes. The manager account and the bar profile are 100% free, with no commitment and no card.

How many bars can I manage?

As many as you like from the same account. Handy for groups or franchisees.

If my bar is already listed, how do I take it over?

Click "Request access" on its profile. Our team approves the request within 48 working hours.

Can I promote one-off events?

Yes. Cup nights, finals, charity events: post them as geolocated local listings.

Does it replace my website?

No, it complements it. It's Rugby brings you supporters looking for a bar to watch a match. Your website remains your overall showcase.

Can I close my account later?

Yes, at any time. But two things need to be distinguished to understand what is erased and what is not.

Your personal data (manager's email, private contact details, personal photos, match night listings) is deleted or anonymised on simple request. It belongs to you and you stay in control of it, in line with the GDPR.

Your public data (public bar profile (address, opening hours, facilities), history of matches shown and past events), however, is kept. Why? Because it forms journalistic archives of public interest, just like any sports press database. The French press freedom law of 29 July 1881 and the GDPR itself (Article 17(3)(a)) explicitly provide for this exception: a score, a referee's report or a list of honours cannot be erased on individual request, otherwise the collective history of rugby would fade away over time.

In practice: we guarantee your GDPR rights over everything relating to your personal identity, and we preserve the sports archives, like any media outlet covering rugby. Full GDPR policy in the footer.
