ASM Clermont Auvergne are strengthening their squad for the 2025-2026 season by confirming three new strategic signings. The Top 14 club announced on Monday the signing of France international number 8 Selevasio Tolofua (Toulon), Fijian centre Alivereti Loaloa (Nevers) and promising scrum-half Lucas Zamora (Soyaux-Angoulême). All three players have committed for three seasons with ASM Clermont.

Selevasio Tolofua (27), with two France caps to his name, leaves Rugby Club Toulonnais after a 2024-2025 season in which he started only five times in 14 appearances, including the recent Champions Cup quarter-final against Stade Toulousain (18-21). The Toulouse-schooled number 8 will have the heavy task of succeeding the emblematic Fritz Lee in the Clermont pack.

Alivereti Loaloa (24), who counts as a JIFF, is about to discover the Top 14 after shining in Nevers colours in Pro D2 for six seasons. The powerful centre (182 cm, 104 kg), converted after coming through as a back-rower, has been impressive since returning from injury with four tries in the last five matches.

ASM Clermont’s 2025-2026 recruitment is rounded off by the arrival of young scrum-half Lucas Zamora (20), currently on loan from La Rochelle at Soyaux-Angoulême and already named in 10 match-day squads this season. These three signings come on top of those already announced of New Zealand fly-half Harry Plummer (Auckland Blues) and lock Pio Muarua (Grenoble).

ASM Clermont are thus continuing their rebuild ahead of the 2025-2026 Top 14 season with a blend of international experience and promising young talent.
