Racing 92 confirmed their recruitment for the coming 2025-2026 season on Tuesday. On their social media, the Paris-region club announced the arrival of ten new players. The headline name is Taniela Tupou. At 29, the Australian phenomenon, who has 59 caps for the Wallabies, will be one of the attractions of Top 14. The huge, explosive prop, whose contract with the Australian union was not renewed, joins Racing alongside nine other players, among them former rugby league wing Joey Manu (29) and the young, promising scrum-half Léo Carbonneau (20), who arrives from Brive.

Here are the 10 signings confirmed by Racing on Tuesday in full:

Taniela Tupou (29, prop; until 2028)
Jonathan Hill (31, lock; until 2028)
Thomas Lainault (31, lock; until 2027)
Lekima Tagitagivalu (29, lock; until 2028)
Nathan Hugues (34, back-rower; until 2027)
Léo Carbonneau (20, scrum-half; until 2028)
Geronimo Prisciantelli (25, fly-half; until 2027)
Joey Manu (29, wing, until 2027)
Wilfried Hulleu (23, wing until 2028)
Selestino Ravutaumada (25, wing; until 2027)

Azam reunited with Collazo

There is fresh blood in the staff too. To make up for the departure of Dimitri Szarzewski, who did not wish to continue the adventure in sky blue and white as forwards coach, the Paris-region club went out and found a technician well known to current manager Patrice Collazo. That man is Olivier Azam, who was his team-mate at Gloucester in the 2000s. Still playing at the time, the two front-rowers had decided to take their first coaching qualification together, as Patrice Collazo recounted in the episode of Parole de Coach devoted to him on Ruck Zone.
