Facundo Bosch is signing on again. At 34, the Argentine hooker has extended his contract with Aviron Bayonnais by a season. He will therefore play his fifth season at the club, having arrived from La Rochelle after making his name at Agen.

Selected on six occasions since the start of the season (4 starts), Bosch is an important member of the Basque squad. Last season, he played 26 matches and scored three tries. The Necochea native has 11 caps for Argentina since 2018.

This is the fifth extension after full-back Cheikh Tiberghien, wing or full-back Tom Spring, centre Manu Tuilagi and loosehead prop Andy Bordelai.
