The 23-year-old, a rising and dazzling star for England in recent months and the author of fine performances with Exeter Chiefs, was unavailable for England’s victorious opening match (48-7) against Wales on Saturday.
His absence for the next matches is looking increasingly likely, with some media even raising the possibility that he will not play a single game of the tournament, including the perilous trip to Edinburgh and then the visit of Ireland.

Head coach Steve Borthwick, cautious, has not for the moment confirmed a definitive withdrawal for the whole competition, but has admitted that Feyi-Waboso would be “short of fitness” for the fixture in Scotland and in all likelihood unavailable for the next assignments.
To cover that absence, wing Tom Roebuck was fielded in Feyi-Waboso’s place against Wales and could be called upon again out wide, where Henry Arundell, who scored an impressive hat-trick against the Welsh, also features.
