Movement at Stade Français. France lock Baptiste Pesenti (28, 6 caps) will leave the club at the end of the season. He will join Pau, report L’Equipe. Midi Olympique specify that he should sign there for three seasons.

Pesenti will therefore return to the Béarn, one of the regions where he was developed. Born in the Jura, and after starting out in the youth ranks at Saint-Claude and then Montpellier, the lock finished his development at Section Paloise before making his professional debut in 2016.

In 2021, he had left Pau for Racing 92 but stayed only one season. Back to his best this season, the France international is a good bit of business for the Béarn club.

His departure comes at the same time as that of England centre Joe Marchant for Sale.
